Poster presented at the American Geophysical Union Fall 2020 meeting

In the spring and summer of 2020 I took part in the Ocean Fellowship that was conceived in conjunction with the Oceans in Transformation research exhibition by TBA21-Academy and Territorial Agency. Oceans in Transformation, curated by Daniela Zyman, explores new ways of connecting research groups that address the oceans in transformation, linking science, arts, and politics by way of shared images, datasets, and narratives. Originally intended to open in March of 2020 in Venice, Italy, the exhibit delayed its opening due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the fellowship activities moved online.
The fellowship was originally intended to be oriented physically and intellectually around a large table, or tavola. In light of the pandemic, the Tavola presentations, organized around seven trajectories around the globe, were explored virtually. These and other activities are archived on the Ocean Archive.
This presentation was created with Ocean Fellows Fiona Middleton (marine geologist), Joe Riley (artist) and mentors Barbara Casavecchia and Louise Carver.
